Apple seeds second build of original macOS 10.12.2 beta to developers
Apple on Wednesday silently released a second build of the first macOS 10.12.2 beta for developers, suggesting unknown fixes for the update.
The new code is listed as build 16C32f, versus the original's 16C32e. Changes appear to be so minor that the software isn't being pushed out via the Mac App Store —instead, it can only be downloaded by developers getting the beta for the first time.
macOS 10.12.2 entered beta on Monday.
While mostly consisting of bugfixes, the update also includes the same emoji featured in the iOS 10.2 beta. These match the Unicode 9.0 standard, and offer both new and redrawn icons, the latter with more detail.
The last macOS update, 10.12.1, was released to the public on Oct. 24, with fixes for apps like Mail, Safari, and Photos.
